It all started in 2004 when a very special French Bulldog named Bebe came into our lives. She brought us so much joy! She was courageous, funny and so very sweet! She changed our lives for the better. She never entered a show ring or had puppies but she was our constant companion. She left us for the rainbow bridge in 2014 and we miss her every single day. Hawaii French Bulldog.
Mike and Desiree started showing in January of 2007 as something they did together. We had fun and learned the ins and outs of training, grooming and showing our dogs. In 2008 we had our first litter; in that litter was a very special dog named Cody. He would grow up to be known as GCH Rabang’s Stir It Up, CGC, ROM. He is our first bred by champion. Cody brought us many firsts. In 2009 & 2011 he was the #1 French Bulldog in the State of Hawaii. These days he spends his time doing therapy work and enjoys that much more than he ever enjoyed being in the show ring. Hawaii French Bulldog.
Our boy Emery, GCH. Rabang’s Twist Of Fate took over from there…he surpassed Cody in the show ring taking the #1 French Bulldog in the state in 2012, 2013, & 2014. He loves to show! In 2014 we finished his baby sister Ivy, CH. Rabang’s Keeping The Faith, CGC. She is the first female French Bulldog born here to receive the AKC champion title. Hawaii French Bulldog.
We still show our dogs here in Hawaii and occasionally on the mainland. Desiree has grown up, moved out and has a family of her own now. Jackie has had to step into the show ring this year to help Mike out, something she swore she would never do.
We rarely have puppies here. When we do plan a litter it is because we are looking to find a puppy to show and keep in our program. All other puppies go to new homes on a strict spay/neuter contracts with a clause that states if ever the puppy cannot be kept by the new owner he/she MUST be returned to us. We feel ultimately responsible for every dog produced here. All of our dogs live with us. We eat, sleep and play together. Puppies are raised indoors and socialized with the rest of our pack and our grandkids ranging in age from 3-6. Hawaii French Bulldog.
Jackie is becoming more involved in rescue and continues to rehabilitate and rehome Frenchies in need in the State of Hawaii. Hawaii French Bulldog.
We are members of the French Bulldog Club of America, the West Oahu Kennel Club and the Non-Sporting Club of Hawaii. Hawaii French Bulldog.
